Welcome to SLUERAIN SHEPHERDS!  I have had a love for the German Shepherd breed since I was a small girl. Unfortunately, I was never able to own one until much later in life.  I used to breed Collies but my heart was with the German Shepherd breed.  My first Shepherd was a female named Tanga Vom Lee. 

I have established SLUERAIN SHEPHERDS basing the name from my late father’s nickname SLUE and RAIN coming from the rainbow I saw when I picked up my first dog.  My father always told me that I could accomplish whatever I set my mind to do and I have set my mind to breed top quality GSDs with good temperments at an affordable price.  We do not show our dogs, but they are bred for wonderful family pets. My goal is to breed GSD's in accordance with the Breed Standard but to also make  the German Shepherd dog  afffordable  so that more can share the love of this ultimate breed.
